it now. Maybe later this year if I can bring myself to finish it.
After all about 15 of the existing rooms are clones tacked together
with teleporters, so I roughly stuck to my originally proposed room
quota. I decided not to abandon after all because it only needs
another say 10-15 rooms anyway just to get willy back to his house
and into bed I was toying with the idea of making the journey through
the house to the master bedroom/bathroom area all dark blue to
simulate the fact that the entire house is still sleeping, don't know
weither to do this or not as it may just add more unnecessary tedium
to the game. The only real problem I had with this game was just some
of the rooms never turned out the way I wanted them to no matter how
much I fiddled, and in my mind the game looks out of date as it
progresses from certain OK looking rooms to and from dire looking
ones which I have no desire to improve anymore. I may be wrong but I
feel now that the turkeys far outway the good rooms no matter what I
do. I could be wrong hey everyone else might like it?

I agree static guardians for graphical effects are my little way of

improving things (my moon sprite as anyone who's played my stuff will
know, I think it's in all my games apart from The DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!),
but eye candy doesn't always make a good room. I'm not too keen on
quirky features myself they do add a little twist but I rarely use
them because I get frustrated by them sometimes. I think there's a
few in Bizarre but I haven't looked at it properly for months so I'm
not sure any more. I know there's at least one instance ivolving head
level earth blocks, which is one of the only quirky features to this
date I've purposely exploited, usually to make traps see GUILTY! TAKE
HIM DOWN! in "Still Stealin'". The other I dabbled with was jumping
through earth blocks at leg height but I'm not sure if I actually
kept that in any games? I'll have to do a quick recon through some of
my older stuff. that would take me a while though as my remake folder
within' my JSW folder has quite a few things in it now. I recently
put all my older games into it and I now have a folder for 48k games
(DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!,DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! special edition (on hold),
Fantasy World Willy, F.I.T, 7 Days in the Sun), and 128k (Down and
out trilogy, Bizarre, Monkey!, The Thing). I have recently started a
JSW 64 folder for future projects, and I backed all my spectrum stuff
onto a CD a week or so ago as the folder was getting quite large (I
have of course now stuck it back onto my new computer and been
furiously adding to it. My remaining games are in folders but
unmentioned as I now have format issues with them Futurama is now of
undecided format (most likely to turn out 48 or 64 instead of 128
now), JSW for Geordies (a comedy project I started work on, but don't
know if I'll ever finish or even release if I do for the sake of my
front teeth, I'm allowed to poke fun at Geordies I am one after all),
and there's also 2 unfinished PC versions "Lost in Skullesville" a
typical JSW affair, and "Sneak Thief" a game in which Willy is a
ninja and he's on a mission to steal sacred artifacts and assassinate
Maria chans pet poodle. Sneak thief was comprised mostly of block
colours to pseudo-simulate cell shading which was all the rage at the
time I started it haha.

I did but unfortunately short of starting again from scratch I have

absolutely no idea how to put it right :(
Sorry for the sheer volume of speech but I feel I've got most of my
issues out of my system now. maybe I just needed to blow off some
steam hahaha!
