Subject: JSW64 and stuff
Thanks for the advice John, but by the time my twitchy computer
allowed me access to reply you'd already uploaded 2,2,3. But thanks
anyway I can't believe I didn't even think of the manual override
considering 2 of my games have relied heavily on this feature.....DOH!
and now for something completely different. Just out of interest I
squinted through some of the past messages, and noticed that JSWED's
features were open to suggestion. Well here's a couple just for the
sake of it. You've probably had these a million times or are even in
the midst of implementing them.
Lifts (or a means of turning guardians passive so they don't kill you)
Guardians that can pass each other or blocks with graphics in them
(the stairs in Megaron, or eggoids from JSW2).
I do recall a while ago somebody gave me a rough idea of how to turn
the lethal prop off for guardians, but back then I may have actually
had the go ahead to try it. But I haven't got any programming
languages or even a hex editor on my computer at the minute .....and
I think I like it that way.
All suggestions are pretty much JSW2 related.
Also what's a stopper, I tried to fiddle and noticed no properties.
I take it this feature isn't finished?
Also just out of interest I know you make JSW engines and
editors......But, have you ever made a game? Or do you just like to
sit back and watch how people put your software to use? I could
understand if you chose the latter obviously, but have you never been
tempted to make a game from scratch?
Yours curiously
DrUnKeN mAsTER!!!
