Subject: More JSW stuff + another massive post
Thank you for your reply John but now I know what the stopper does
I'll prabably not need to use it for a while because none of my
current games require it. However I will find a use for it in the
future, I can guarentee that.
Also on an unrelated note I've been playing JSW-Ivy again, how good
is that game? Serious it's got to be one of my fave 48k JSWs'.
I've took it upon myself to post photos of my ex-48k now JSW 64 game
Maria on tour. Borrowing a few things (like the main sprite for
instance), but I'm trying to keep the copying on the down-low.
Because it feels like ages since I've sat and done something
completely original. You can find the photos in the BaSe1 PrOdUcTiOnZ
folder. I'll add more when I'm satisfied with my rooms. I've got
about 15 done and this game now seems to be slipping into the
priority spot. So no more updates on up and coming titles til' I've
finished this caper. Which in typical DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! style should
only be a month or so. Because I sit and cram rather than editing
once in a while. I do use short breaks between work and reality just
to set menial things like exits and colours, but I spend my spare
hours stuffing all my ideas into games whenever I can. I find it hard
to actually do this as much as I like though. After all the reason my
first 5 titles TDm, fantasy world, and the down and out trilogy came
out so speedily was because I was unemployed at the time. So when I
wasn't drinking myself into a coma, I was editing JSW. Can't do that
now, I almost miss my loaf time but I'd probably be homeless by now
if I'd carried on. So in effect it's better I have a roof over my
head than pump countless JSWs' out.
Also with me seemingly losing my evil streak, do you think I should
release the parts of 7 Days in the Sun as they're finished, like I
did with the down and out trilogy. I know I said I'd hold it back
til' all 7 parts were finished but I'm worried part 1 will be too out
of date by the time the other 6 are done. But I can't just release 1
then make you all wait for the rest......hmmmmmm decisions, decisions
believe it or not I am actually capable of making them but I just
don't know on this one any more.
