Subject: Daniel, Andrew and The Unlucky Seven
I'm caught up in my own real life drama right now, but I've been
skimming the group, and have seen my Unlucky Seven brought up a few
times. So I'd like to help settle the matter.
As far as I can see it TU7 can either reside in the Tidbits section,
as a sort of 'go to the group if you want to download/see it' type of
affair... or it can go into the Future Games section, since it seems
Daniel will eventually encorporate it into one of his games. I didn't
get the chance to read all of the information pertaining to this since
I have other matters to deal with, but I'm really quite pleased that
you like my orphaned rooms and want to give them a home. :)
I take back the bad things I said about them but really I am someone
who wants to push the envelope and so I have a very high standard of
quality. They are good rooms but I couldn't fit them into any kind of
scenario. I moved onto other things and JSW64 came out which just kind
of changed my opinion on what's worth continuing with and what isn't.
I hope the game Daniel incorporates them into is a JSW64 game because
JSW64 rocks and should be used as much as possible. I have so many
ideas about that engine that sometimes my head explodes. And I haven't
even touched JSW editing in months!
Anyway, it's great to see some new enthusiasm in the form of Daniel
and once again I'm flattered that you like my designs and want to use
them in a finished product. Really that's just wonderful.
I myself am starting a website soon which will go on a lot about JSW
and other 'retro' styled games. I look forward to introducing it to
the JSW community :)
Gotta dash,
Hastily,
Sendy
