I thought I'd missed an issue, since it was due to come out on the 4th
of this month and my subscription copy never arrived. Now I've checked
their website, the page still shows issue 18 with The Last Ninja, and
though the forums for all of Livepublishing are currently closed, the
front page is showing suspiciously titled threads like "So long
everyone" and "final RG appreciation thread". Has something happened?

Live Publishing have gone bust. All the staff of Retro Gamer were made
redundant on monday. See http://www.mcvuk.com/newsitem.php?id=451.

Sad news :-(

The worst thing is that, while the computer magazine market is
declining, Retro Gamer was supposedly making a profit.
