Subject: Things
Hello everybody I just thought I'd post since I don't know if I have
since I got back to England. I've tried to post a few times since
I've been back but my computer is misbehaving a lot at the min.
Anyway nothing too important really, I've fully prepped the Down and
out Trilogy for it's (almost 3 year late) special editions. I even
started to make the Skint Willy SE, but ran into a brick wall face
first. Basically I made minor and cosmetic changes to the first 10 or
so rooms after shaving several unnecessary (in my opinion) screens
for the transition to JSW 64 (I've got 1 screen left for a new room
LOL), and then JSWED will no longer open it. I thought it was my
computer at first but now I'm not so sure, to John Elliot I may have
to send you this file so you can have a look at it for me (cos' I
haven't got a friggin' clue what's wrong with it). But I'll leave
that til' I've finished Maria on Tour, and with this being my night
off work I think I could have it Beta finished by about 11am this
morning (I work nights so I'm not just a loony insomniac who sits at
the computer drinking all day hahaha). I say beta cos' there's a few
rooms need tidying and a few actually need the themed guardians drawn
for them, I've been bad and unlike my usual methods have built other
rooms around unfinished ones (I have done this to a small extent in
the past but not this bad). Also I've blown my room quota I past 75
rooms a while ago there's now 94 of which about 5 aren't finished or
aren't finished to my liking. I may break into triple figures with
the room number but I still won't use anywhere near the 127 available
because I don't want the game huge, plus a lot of my rooms are
transitional so you can probably knock the fully playable thing down
to about 80ish. I've also missed out a few rooms I had planned for
this game just because they won't go but I can always bung them into
my next 64 project, I mouthed off about it a few months ago. The Man
who sold the World however don't expect it anytime soon, I've got an
extremely long and rather strange story that goes with it and that's
about it but I have a score of room ideas for it. I also noticed
Maria on Tour has taken me almost a year ouch I planned to have it
finished in half that time. It pretty much started off as an
experiment just to play with JSW 64, but now has become a full blown
mission with plenty of ups and downs along the way.
Well it appears I've written my life story again, hope everybody and
their projects are doing well
Cheers
