In reply to various people:

- To Soa1000 and Igor about the archival MM/JSW game files

Thanks for both your answers, and your willingness to send me the CD-
R, Igor :-) . I'll let you know my mail address directly. Just for
the sake of explanation: I have downloaded all the files available on
the internet I could find, and I certainly have all the finished,
gamma-released games plus some other files. However, there must be a
lot of old versions in progress that I certainly don't have, e.g.
because they appeared in the Club for a while and then were
superseded by newer versions. It would be nice for me to acquire
them - mainly out of historical interest (because they are probably
not useful in any sense), and to feel fulfilled as a "game-
completist" :-) .

- About the music

The in-game tune in JSW128 is one of the things I would /really/ like
to change in my games. I understand from the recent discussion that
the way to do it is well-known. I haven't looked at it in detail yet,
but I generally agree with Igor that it sounds like a tough task. So
maybe if one day someone creates a nice brand-new tune, it will then
be easier (with the author's permission of course) to just copy it
into our games?

- To DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!!

a) My personal suggestion - and I'm only expressing it because you've
asked - would be to finish "Bizarre" off as JSW128, without really
expanding it substantially, but at the same time to make sure that
it is fully compleatable and bug-free. This is because it sounds like
you don't feel like working hard on this project any more, so any
kind of serious expansion would certainly delay it, and when one
doesn't feel like doing something, it becomes very difficult to do.
Also, I may be wrong, but I imagine that in order to fully use the
potential of JSW64 (of which I still have a very hazy idea), it is
better to design a game from scratch as JSW64, not just convert it
and use only some of the available features. So I imagine that it
won't be a great loss if you just leave "Bizarre" as JSW128 (and make
other new JSW64 games). On the other hand, do make sure that it is
compleatable - I honestly don't understand how anyone can release a
game without playing it himself (or, hopefully, herself) first to see
if it can be finished (which includes the original JSW,
unfortunately).

b) What are you going to do with "7 Days in the Sun"? Will you
release Day 1 even if you don't intend to finish the whole series
(please do! :-) )

c) Thanks for asking about Sendy's and mine "JSW: Mind Control". As a
matter of fact, after a short interval caused by a lack of time due
to important non-JSW obligations, I started working on it again
yesterday. In the end it will have 110 rooms altogether (I eliminated
some of the rooms from "Where's Woody" which "accidentally" found
their way into the new game, as explained previously), and I will do
my best to gamma-release it before the end of the year, first giving
all of you about a month to send me your suggestions after playing
the "pre-release" Club version.

d) I am glad you are interested in JSW 128 Mass Collaboration. If
finally I become the person to finish it (if Sendy or someone else
doesn't do it first), probably some time in the first half of next
year, I will certainly appreciate input from you :-) .

e) Don't feel guilty about anything - any feeling of guilt should be
banned from the fabulous world of Miner Willy as inappropriate and
absurd (in my humble opinion) :-) .

f) What does LOL stand for?

Best wishes to everyone,

Daniel
