Subject: Superjump is Fixed?
I haven't been doing any of my JSW stuff or reading/replying here
because I've had a bout of nasty back pain, but I had to mess around
with the superjump after seeing Daniel use it in our game.
John, have you changed it? Because last time I remember it was buggy
as hell (though that was years ago) and now it seens to work fine, in
'64 anyway. Which is a bit of an eye opener!
I was thinking, if people use this they could change Willy's sprite to
have jumping-boots on or something. And now I'm determined to make a
room where you've got to fly down a horizontal hall made of fire
blocks, perhaps dodging guardians. Sounds fun to me!
Ok, I'm off to reply to Daniel's email before these painkillers make
me incoherent ;)
Sendy
p.s Expect a bit of a delay on my imminent releases due to the fact I
haven't been working on them. I'm thinking mainly of Andrew's list
here. Anyway, Strangel SE is finished, just got to do the extras, and
perhaps playtest it. I have playtested the /changes/ and I have
playtested the /original/. Logically that means I don't have to
playtest this doozy again but what I'll probably do is release it and
then slowly play it and update if neccecary.
