Subject: The long due "Play-new-Willy-games-and-post-nice-things-about-them"
I've been busy with a number of things lately, mostly university
studies, but I just sat down, loaded a big load of games from Dr.
Broad's site, uploaded them onto my xbox and whipped up a speccy emu
on it. The usb-keyboard works wonders on it!
Drunken Master:
Just tried F.I.T and Bizarre amongst your other games for the first
time. Nice to see you've used my Willy sprite in F.I.R 3.
Bizarre is by far one of the best "theme setter" games I've played.
The "intro walk" reminds me of a c64-demo with Jet Set Willy walking
drunk from a pub, a possible source of inspiration to you?
Maria on Tour is very good also, almost like replay Jet Set Willy with
a "true" role-reversal. This really brings out the magnificent
properties of both you and John's jsw64-engine.
Hervé Ast:
Jet Set Willy in Paris is a great game. Well put together, nice theme
and mood in it all over. I'm happy to do a finnish translation if you
want... ;)
Sendy:
Unlucky Seven is great :) Nice to see some workstuff from you.
Igor:
Still waiting for Back in the USSR.. :)
I just had a replay of ZX Heroes, and still I think this your
masterpiece. The sprite design is outworldly good. Love the game.
