Subject: A few things
Once again I'd like to say thank you for all the nice things people
keep saying to me, I'm really not used to this much niceness. I just
can't believe my games are bringing this much enjoyment it's a huge
boost for my ego I must admit. Thank you everybody when I'm old and
crumbly (like an MM floorboard) I can die a happy man knowing that
what todays (supposed) real gamers frown upon as crap, was added to
by me. A REAL gamer who knows that Sonic and Alex Kidd before him
wouldn't have existed, that Donkey Kong and Mario wouldn't have
existed. That Rayman and Crash Bandicoot wouldn't have existed if it
wasn't for Willy. So all these so called progressive gamers can stick
that in their pipes and smoke it cos' Willy will outlive any
fashonable game character til' the year 3005. That's what I say.

finished "The Down and Out Trilogy" in the space of a year with
another game in-between. But now I devote most of my spare time when
I'm not working to it. Since my job is nightshift I hardly see any of
my friends now so JSW it is.

admition my rooms that look good are usually fillers or cut-scenes,
the ones that look good and are more playable are usually easy. The
actual authors who really deserve all the credit for true playable
eye candy are Erix 1 and Igor Makovsky. Both there games present a
challenge as well as something to look at, wheras mine on the whole
are usually one or the other maybe, actually I'm not sure maybe I
have done a few hard rooms in the past that look nice LOL
So yeah, you guys are my inspiration at the moment, especially when it
comes to graphics!

Bizarre is by far one of the best "theme setter" games I've played.
The "intro walk" reminds me of a c64-demo with Jet Set Willy walking
drunk from a pub, a possible source of inspiration to you?
Thanks for the kind words, I'd heard of the pub demo but never seen
it. I was a spectrum purist in my younger days and only finally
warmed to any Commodore computers in about the last 10 years. I ws
never C64 friendly in my young days because all the kids I knew who
owned them only ever went on about how much better than the spectrum
they were. The intro sadly was not inspired by the C64 demo. I don't
mean to disappoint..........sorry :) It is quite funny though how
silly arguments like that get out of hand, and it's only years later
you see the pros and cons of both machines. Instead of obviously
siding with your own LOL
Anyway I think I've rambled on long enough
Cheers
