Subject: Life / Invalid Arrow Technology
Firstly, my apologies to those who missed my planned releases. Life
has been pretty hectic especially on an emotional level and it's left
little time for tinkering with my JSW projects. I'll be back in the
States hopefully within a month and then I will be away from my studio
and hence will start my JSW persuits with renewed vigour.
Regarding invalid arrows and JSW64, I'm wondering about the
possibilities of making arrows that are invisible and don't harm the
player because they have no image. This is possible because I think
you can edit the middle row bitmap on arrows now.
So an invalid arrouw /could/ draw to the screen indirectly only,
theoretically. I haven't been able to try it yet but if it works it'll
be invaluable. Maybe even if it doesn't work it can be patched by
someone knowledgeable. I'll never be able to learn z80 what with
everything I have on my plate (I'm currently studying jazz theory to
bolster my musical knowledge, for example) though at times I wish I
could take a crash course.
