Subject: technical queries and future plans
For everyone but some specific points for John Elliot here:
Hello again I had an evil idea for a room which may or may not be
possible via a patch of some kind. It could be awkward though and
maybe not possible at present. I have a solar power generator variant
in mind for "You-Robot!" which would work with a single as it was
originally planned, but here is what I was wondering about. Will it
ever be possible to have multiple solars without causing massive
problems? I have an idea with 1 but I would like to maybe be able to
add 2 if possible. Also I'd like to know are solars made to only go
left? I've never tried putting one to the left of the screen to see
if it'll go to the right and none of my games require it at present so
I probably won't, but in all games with solars I've noticed they go
down until they hit something then they go left and down again and so
on but I don't recall seeing one ever go right? Maybe one did but it's
been a while since I've played an MM or a JSW with a solar in it (if
any).
For everyone in general:
You may be waiting a while for "The Man Who Sold the World" and
"You-Robot!". I've had an idea which I think I've mentioned before now
at some point, and I've decided to do it. Since I've made trilogies in
48k and 128k I was maybe going to do a JSW 64 Trilogy. I decided a
week or so ago that I was going to go ahead with this plan to an
extent. But! I had another idea also a few weeks ago and that was to
make "You-Robot!" the oddity that maybe came forth making it a
quartet. Having had several ideas and variations of the same thing in
mind for months. I can finally reveal originally I was going to do a
trilogy called "Willy Junior: The Dark Generation Trilogy", but now I
am going to add "You-Robot!" to the end to make a quartet and call
it "The Dark Quadrology".
Willy: The Man Who Sold the World.
The Overfiend.
Willy Junior: The Boy Who Destroyed the World.
You-Robot!
I could really release "You-Robot" at any time as it only basically
ties in with the first 3, but I'm no George Lucas and I'm not sure I
can get away with releasing the end of something before the start
hahahaha.
