Subject: Spectrum versions of the BBC games

1. I have just managed to generate the three files of the BBC
versions of JSW, JSW II and MM converted to Spectrum format, using
John Elliott's installation program. It took me a few days to do it -
I had to understand what it's all about, install the Java runtime
environment (which I downloaded from Sun Microsystems), look for the
five files required by the installation program, then experiment
with a BBC emulator and various downloaded files, and now finally I
got it right :-) .

Thanks a lot, John, for this excellent conversion! The JSW II rooms
fit just perfectly into my plans of preparing the special edition
of "JSW: The 2005 Megamix" :-) .

I have not uploaded anywhere the files I have generated (I thought
that perhaps John wouldn't like it), but I will be more than happy
to share them with anyone who hasn't been able to generate them.
Carl, I have just tried sending you the files (I'm not sure I have
the right address). Anyone else - just let me know directly you need
the files and I will send them to you.

Thanks, again, John, for your excellent work :-) . Will you try to
convert MM and JSW from any other systems?

Daniel
