It's about a third finished. I've posted an 'editor's demo' which you
will need to use JSWED to view all of. There are no top secret secrets
in the game so far, just solidly put together screens mostly with
simple playability in mind. Tons of playtesting has acted like an
erosive force, removing the nasty bits, but I still need help and
feedback from my fellow authors, whose opinions I value muchly. And
yes, some levels are harder than others :)
Gameplay semantics are very sensible IMO but some static sprites will
kill you anyway - it's rare - the only place I can think of is the
lockers in the changing rooms of Water World. But, this is Death TV
and they have been electrified ;). Who said life was fair?
Have fun! I started you off in Water World since it shows how much
more the graphics can rock in JSW64 mode. You will probably have to
use emulation accelleration, so it may be unbearably slow on a real
Speccy 128. Never noticed it at all until it was pointed out.
