I found these bugs in the Down and Out trilogy when I played them on
my real Spectrum three years ago, and AFAIR I didn't post these at
the time (I wrote "BUG" next to each room on my handwritten list of
room-numbers and room-names):

Skint Willy

[66] "It's still a long way to the top": You can't go back down,
because of a Fire-cell in the top row. This also means infinite
death if you jumped up from "To the roof" [129] on the left.

[130] "A bit silly really aren't you": You get stuck on the rope on
entry, trapping you, forcing you to press Caps-Shift and Space.

[138] "Ding 'a' fuckin' ling": It is impossible to jump up into this
room from "Rescue Esmerelda" [14] and land on anything but Air. It's
also infinite death if you go down from this room, except by falling
off the right-hand side of the bottom Water-platform.

[78] "Oh Globbits!": There's no way to collect the top-right item. I
really like the Berk guardian, though (technically two guardians -
blue ink for the body, white ink for the eyes).

Still Stealin'

I didn't find any bugs in this game. Looks like Room 113 was the
last I typed in before the motor on the Datacorder burned out (it
wouldn't go when I tried to save it); I can't remember whether this
means that Room 111 was the last JSW room I ever played on my real
Spectrum (I typed in a block of four JSW rooms at a time, saving
halfway through because of frequent crashes).

Fantasy World Willy

I tested the toilet-run in response to Message 5762, and found a new
quirky feature! If Willy falls onto a left-conveyor during the
toilet-run, he stops and cannot move (he can still run over left-
conveyors if he doesn't fall onto them). This makes FWW not toilet-
completable.

I guess the only way to exploit this feature would be to have an
invalid arrow take out the conveyor, or possibly give Willy the
option of running onto a vertical lift.
