that's why I haven't posted for a while. I did start right away on
fixing the originals of all my games but having so much on my plate at
the min with JSW I'll admit I have ended up confusing myself. If I was
a robot my head would have caught fire by now. I have a bugs list
compiled from yours and Andrews posts and I know I've ticked off all
the criticals and a few non criticals, in JSW: The DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! No
doubt you know I've scrapped 10 Of ThE bEsT!!! by now and am using the
folder I constructed only as a guide for each game that needs corrected
I will eventually remove them 1 by 1 as I fix them. I apologise if I am
delaying your preservation project, but at present I have very little
time to myself and I'm trying to cram as much JSW into short bursts.
that's why I decided to take a break. With no pressure on me I have
almost completed the second section of "The Man Who Sold the World"
(making it roughly 40-45% complete, and added a little to "Skint Willy
SE". I also noticed on closer inspection a few of the bugs on the list
were intentional at the time, I've had to proof read some of my readmes
over and over (which does get a little tedious, but it's all for the
cause) to check certain things. It's a good job I make my readmes the
way I do because they've been extremely helpful to me (I think the way
I do set them up may confuse people sometimes though).
Over the last few weeks I've been working a lot so when I'm home I've
just been relaxing and annoying people on WoS. I am going to write a
text adventure sometime this year if I find the time. If it happens
I'll let you all play it obviously, but for all I know it may not
happen. For now JSW is my main squeeze and always will be, even if I
fizzle out and my games become boring I'll still come here. JSW is my
gaming obsession it'd take the Betty Ford clinic to help me get over my
addiction and even then I think I'd re-lapse.
