at the same time it is very good news that you will have more time
for MM and JSW :-)

horizontal!) in JSW I games. I hope you will be able to sort out all
the problems satisfactorily and deliver a final product soon :-) .
A question to John Elliott: is there any chance that a future version
of JSWED may allow the user to apply lifts designed by Andrew easily?

makes no sense that files relating to the Spectrum cannot be hosted
freely, because the space is occupied by huge files relating to other
platforms, while this Group, AFAICT, deals primarily with Spectrum
games.
At the same time, it is nice of you to have created a new group where
the deleted files will be hosted :-) .
2. After releasing "Willy's Hoard" I had some contact with Geoff Eddy
(I let him know I had used some of his contributions to the JSW
designing scene), and he told me - suggesting that I share it with
the Group members - that he had been "working sporadically" on "Willy
does the Great Pyramid", and that the game "may appear for real
sometime in the next year or so..." . This is great news, Geoff, I
look forward to your new game! :-)
3. My current MM/JSW priorities:
- updating my current JSW website (in a few weeks' time);
- doing the bug-free edition of Steve Worek's "Jet Set Emily";
- collaborating with other authors in the sense of playtesting, etc;
- continuing playing the existing games;
- continuing the preparations for my future MM/JSW website, including
recording RZX walkthroughs of the released games.
I would prefer not to immerse myself in heavy editing in the nearest
future, so that I can progress with the above projects. The Special
Editions of "Willy's New Mansion" and "Jet Set Willy: The 2005
Megamix" continue to be my firm commitments, but I hope that I will
be able to start doing them some time next year. I say I "hope",
because I would really like to finish playing all of the existing
games first, and I know that if I allow myself to start working on a
new editing project, I will become addicted and distracted from the
current priorities...
Happy editing and gaming, Everyone! :-)
Daniel
