assume that once I fix the row-matching logic, a horizontal lift
will still pick you up when you are standing below the top of the
lift and it collides with you! I would expect horizontal lifts to
kill Willy in this situation; however, it all depends on what works
best for vertical lifts (since they share the same code).

by setting Bit 4 of the second byte of its guardian-class.
In other words, click "!" in JSWED's Guardian Editor, and add #10 to
the second byte (I hope JSWED will have a "Lift" checkbox at some
point in the future, when editing a game that uses the lifts-patch).
Anyway, my MM/JSW activity has continued to be restricted by further
distractions. The worst of these is behind me now, though I don't
expect much to do much MM/JSW between 28th August and 10th September
for tennis-reasons.
My first MM/JSW priority is to update my website (particularly my
List of MM/JSW Games, which entails processing 54 messages).
I don't plan to resume work on Advanced MM/JSW Trainer until after
10th September, except possibly to issue a minor revision (changes
to existing rooms).
I work on the lifts-patch as and when I have both the time and the
inclination for a bout of non-AMJT-related Z80 hacking.
