Subject: Matthew Smith and Martyn Brown in Retro Gamer
There is an article in the current issue (Load 32) of UK magazine
_Retro Gamer_ about the early games that authors released before the
ones they are famous for.
The article mentions Matthew Smith's VIC-20 game _Monster Muncher_,
followed by Spectrum-games _Styx_ and _The Birds and the Bees_ before
Manic Miner and Jet Set Willy!
Martyn Brown's first game was _Henry's Hoard_, which the article
admits to being "like Jet Set Willy", without mentioning that it is
based on the JSW game-engine to the extent that some people think it
should be listed as a JSW48 game! The article also says that his co-
author's name is Andy Bigos (not "Biggs").
Apparently, Martyn is best known for being the creative director of a
video-game company called Team 17.
