Personally, I find it fascinating to ask which rooms connect TO a
given room; indeed, having a program to tell you that is very useful
when you're trying to ascertain whether a given room (or part of a

I just tried your program. It would be nice to have some indication as
to what connections are physically possible. For example, it is not
actually possible to go upwards from the bridge into the Off Licence
(well not without some hacking for superjumping).

Previously, I wacked up my own little bit of (Java) code to knock out a
few of the obvious impossible links (e.g. because of walls/killers in
direction, or complete floor on the bottom, or too many completely blank
rows at the top). It still reports many impossible links I think,
but I guess there are some really tricky cases like falling across
rooms. I can send you my code if you like.

Thus it would seem to me that the logical place where Matthew had
originally planned for room 47 is to the right of "Tree Root".

In the Photos section of this Group, there is a folder "Left Square
Bracket" where Stuart J. Hill imagines what it would have looked like
had Matthew done as you suggest.
