Subject: A suggestion for Andrew Broad's list of MM/JSW games
When you update your list of MM/JSW games, Andrew, perhaps you might
consider creating a separate category, or subcategory, for MM/JSW-
inspired games entered in various competitions? With the Crap Compo
entries of 2007 there is quite a number of them already, and perhaps
it might be useful / interesting to group them together somehow?
The following games would fall into this category:
1. "Manic Miner - Super Pre-School Edition" - entered by Derek Jolly
in the 1999 Crap Games Competition.
2. "Jet Set Willy - Super Pre-School Edition" - entered by Andrew
Broad in the 2000 Crap Games Competition.
3. "The Invisible Man" - entered by Lee Prince in the 2002 Crap
Games Competition.
4. "Jet Set Willy 2 - Super Pre-School Edition" entered by John
Elliott in the 2004 Crap Games Competition.
5. "Area 51" - originally entered by Jonathan Cauldwell in the 2004
Minigame Competition.
6. "Manic Muslim" - entered by Chaosmongers (Böniösoft) in the 2005
Crap Games Competition.
7. "Jet Set Basic" - entered by Ivan Armada (aka IceVAN, Purple
Studios) in the 2006 BASIC Games Competition (Concurso de juegos en
BASIC).
8. "Jet Set Bulimic" - entered by DrUnKeN mAsTeR!!! in the 2007 Crap
Games Competition.
9. "Advanced Jet Set Willy Guardian Simulator" - entered by Rickard
Berglind in the 2007 Crap Games Competition.
I may have missed something, but if we have at least 9 games, it
seems enough to create a sublist :-) . Perhaps not really move the
information about these games from where it currently is, but just
add a merged list - just like the merged list of all games you added
at some point?
Daniel
P.S. When you update the list, Andrew, please correct the error
which occurs where it mentions "Jet Set Willy - Super Pre-School
Edition", after the words "You play as Minor Willy from Philip
Bee's". There should be a separate point there about "The Invisible
Man"! In the old copies of your list (I try to keep all of them),
the error already appears in the 25 Feb. 2006 edition, but the
previous one I have - the 16 Nov. 2004 edition (there are various
editions in-between missing in my archives) is OK.
