A stationary VG is indeed far more reusable in JSW48/128 than a
stationary HG.

However, a stationary HG has the advantage that it can move into
place and then stop, which you cannot do with a stationary VG (except
by using advanced features such as Eugenes, patch-vectors, or JSW64's
triggers).

An example of a HG that moves into place and then stops is the iron
maiden in We Pretty's "T H E T OMBOF ESAC TCELES" [42]. Yes,
it's jerky, and it clashes with the colour of the floor along which
it moves, but I think it's a really cool effect nonetheless.

I'm pleased to see more TAP-files on World Of Spectrum, because I'm
currently struggling against Geocities' 15MB storage-limit for my
website, so it will be nice to have the option to replace some of the
files I host with WOS-links. I can't actually access WOS's FTP
anymore for some reason (technical rather than disciplinary, I
believe), but I know there are mirrors somewhere.

I still haven't touched my List of MM/JSW Games for months, and the
backlog is now at 306 MM/JSW-related emails, but the good news is
that the worst of the distractions (James Bond was one of the
biggest) are behind me now, so I should be able to devote a day a
week to MM/JSW between now and the period when my life will be 100%
tennis (25th May - 7th July).

I'm not going to make the Unbreakable Vow that I will update my List
of MM/JSW Games by 25th May, but it's certainly my first MM/JSW
priority.

Progress on JSW64: Flash MM is subject to me reaching Cavern 29 in
Flash MM <http://www.darnkitty.com/manic/>, as I don't want to cheat
by watching the video or attempting to scrape the room-data.

I'd also like to do a certain something to honour a certain person
who will turn 100 on 28th May, but only if I can get my List updated
in time to do both - which, to be honest, I almost certainly won't.
