I contracted a builder to replace the roof on my flat in May. Come
August and it still wasn't finished, the tenents had been camping
out in the living room for four months, and all his tools had
vanished. I've spent the last three weeks finishing off his work
myself. Grrr. The whole point of paying somebody else to do a job
is to avoid spending ages messing about attempting to do it
yourself.
