Subject: Re: UK TV-alert: Manic Miner on BBC 4
Oh wow! That sounds marvellous. Will anybody be able to record this, either on VHS or DVD? I ask because I am currently residing and working in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and BBC iPlayer is not available to me here.
It ticks me off. I am UK TV Licence payer, yet I can't watch TV online here. I wish there was some system whereby you could register against your TV licence, thus getting access outside of the UK.
I really like BBC4's output. Much better than the rubbish on BBC1 (though I admit I like Strictly, when I get a chance to see it!)

>>Games Britannia is a three-part series about popular games in Britain from the Iron Age to the Information Age. Part 1 (Monday 7th December, 21:00 - 22:00, BBC 4) covers the 1st century to the Victorian era, so presumably Manic Miner might appear in either Part 2 or Part 3
