Subject: Copyright status?
Hi everybody,
I've been gathering together a few copies of MM and JSW on different platforms, and it seems that more and more websites are disappearing about these games! Therefore I was thinking of putting together a brief website about them including all the different contemporary versions (not modern ones - at least not yet).
Hence a question - how is the copyright on this game in all its flavours? If I put up a scan of all my tapes, instructions and copy protection sheets, will anyone complain? I figure for some people at least it would be good to have access to such things (especially the protection grid on JSW), and whereas I know other websites have done similar, I want to concentrate on the different versions of the game as every platform has its own weirdnesses. I find it interesting how different machines cope with MM/JSW because they highlight the idiosyncracies of each system, so I'd like to throw a bit more light on that.
Can anyone help educate me? Thanks!
