Subject: Re: Spectrum version of Oric version of Manic Miner - beautiful but

Hi. I´m afraid the Spectrum version of the Oric version of Manic Miner is nowhere near completed. I found the file on an old hard drive, and uploaded it just for keep sake (as an oddity/unfinished project). The Oric-version had quite a few advanced features not found in the Speccy-version (like two conveyor belts going in opposite directions at the same time). To finish the game, I will have to do a lot of additional coding or convert it to Jet Set Willy 64, but that will probably never happen.

Is "Maria vs. Some Bastards" completable?

Eh... maybe?. There are a few really well hidden objects, but I guess those shouldn´t count if you play the easy version. Come to think of it, it´s possible I did a few end-game-corrections in revision D, and then left them out in revision E.
I´ll look into it, and give you a real answer (could be I´ll have to release revision F...)

There is no way of reaching the portal in the second room ("asdfasdf") before the time runs out - that's unless I am missing something, of course, but I tried both the upper way and the lower way repeatedly and couldn't make it.
