Subject: Portal Patch Vector potential

Having thought about the above, I believe that it would be possible!  The Portal PV could select the destination cavern, based upon the current value of #806A (with an AND 01 gate applied so as to disregard the Movement flag in Bit 1).


Furthermore, the design of the Portal graphic could be split such that the left and right halves of the graphic give an indication as to the destination in each case (i.e. when Willy walks leftwards or rightwards into the Portal).


You could also have differential destinations if Willy falls down into or jumps up into the Portal, being determined by the value of the Airborne Status Indicator variable.


Such options could make for an interesting, non-linear layout in a MM game!
