Further to the above (relating to JSW converted to the MM game engine), presumably there is a vacant slot in the list of room elements, corresponding to Crumbly cells?  In fact, it might even contain the unused Crumbly graphics bytes from the equivalent room number in Manic Miner, present as a 'relic' in the code.


If one of those Crumbly graphic bytes matched the attribute byte of a subsequent room element in the list, it could trigger the Cell-Graphics Bug in a way that doesn't occur in original JSW.
