Subject: Re: About a game where you needn't pick

"it sounds like an interesting game(s), sort of
two for the price of one, but i think the engine
would need to be re-worked a little to allow for the
surplus objects upon completion."

Hmm. Good point.
The problem is my technical naivety. I remembered
John saying about how if you set the information bar
to a different time on the clock, the clock would
begin from that point. I assumed then that if you had
256 objects, and you set the information bar to start
with 128 objects, it would assume you already had 128
and allow you to collect just another 128 to complete
the game.
I assume though that the object counter
is more complicated than that.

"why not have
a teleport at the end of the game that sends you
back to do the other side of the game? (no need to do
any hacking then :)"

A distinct possibility,
although it doesn't really satisfy me as the idea was that
you could only play one half of the game, and so they
would be two completely different games that
intertwine. This is looking like a dream that won't come true
for me :(
