from what i can see, it is.
there is no difference in the game's perception of the
number of objects you /have/ and the number you /need/.
they are just removed from the object list until they
are all gone.

as for the clock, it seems like
it's just for show! it can go past midnight with no
ill effects to willy's health. i haven't noticed
anything about a timeout routine in john's breakdown
either!

quite possibly, unless you get the
hacking thing pinned down... and even then, i'm not sure
if there's space to do it.
