the above ground sections of WvsB are non-linear,
then it goes linear for some time until you reach the
temples, then hopefully the temples should be very non
linear.
I think maybe Linear games should be known as the
WNH, or Willy's-New-Hat effect "

the time hole
was very guilty of this. in fact i was going to point
it out to you, but i concluded that if that's how
you want to do it then i shouldn't complain
:)

anyway, you have one branch point (you can either go to
the teleport under the stairs, or up the stairs and
through the other part of the game) and from then on, no
significant branches. and also you have situations where you
find yourself having to play a done and dusted section
of the game once more, which was a bit infuriating
:)

i quite like to have linear episodes within a
non-linear structure, and in fact w vs b sounds great in
that respect (can't wait for it to get
finished!)
