Subject: "Willy's Flashback" / The Writetyper cheat

While recording RZX walkthroughs of JSW games for the RZX Archive, I
played Jet Visy's "Willy's Flashback" to completion. I found out that
the game is bed-completable, but NOT toilet-completable, because
during the toilet-run in "Security Monitor" (033) you get killed by
the conveyor, which has the same colour attributes as Fire-cells and
therefore behave as Fire.

So, first of all, a question to Jet Visy: Would you consider
releasing a fixed edition of your game?

Secondly, I circumvented the problem (and recorded an alternative
ending of the walkthrough, downloadable from the RZX Archive - it's
in the same ZIP file) by activating the Writetyper cheat just before
finishing the game and then using it during the toilet-run.

My question to the members of the JSW community is: Can this be
considered a "rightful" way of completing a game? And in general, can
using Writetyper (e.g. to collect items otherwise impossible to
collect) be considered a "rightful" way of completing a game? My
intuitive answer would be that it should be possible to complete any
game /without/ using the cheat, but, on the other hand, it is hard-
wired into the original game engine, so you could argue to the
contrary.

And a related question: is it possible to complete the original
JSW /without/ the official Software Projects POKEs BUT /using/ the
Writetyper cheat?

Daniel
