Subject: Re: Anyone? - "Maria vs. Some Bastards"
Hi Erix1 :-)
It is good to know you might have a look at "Maria vs. Some Bastards" in your spare time! It would be great if you could tell us authoritatively whether Rev. E is completable (and perhaps reveal the tricks behind it) or else... release a completable Rev. F :-) .
For your convenience (and the sake of anyone interested in solving the mysteries of the game) I have uploaded an RZX recording of my test walkthrough of the Hard version of "Maria vs. Some Bastards" to Divshare. It can be downloaded from the following links:
http://www.divshare.com/download/26823365-219
http://www.divshare.com/download/26823398-e91
http://www.divshare.com/download/26823399-35d
(the file was split into 3 parts using 7-Zip, due to the limitations of the free account at Divshare; the downloaded files need to be unpacked = merged <- this explanation is not meant for Erix1, of course, whose computer knowledge is WAY beyond mine).
The recording preserves all the rollback points, hence the size.
I also have a map of "Maria vs. Some Bastards", which I have not uploaded anywhere, but I will do so if need be (I don't think you should need it, Erix1, but perhaps someone else might want to use it - if so, please let me know). It is just a working version, never finished properly. There is, of course, the map created by Pavero, hosted on WoS and on http://maps.speccy.cz, certainly better than mine (which is room name based, without any graphics).
I look forward to any new info you might give us on this vintage gem of yours :-) .
Daniel
