" Also I'm thinking of starting my game
again.
Maby setting it outside.
I dont know, maby desert
island willy or something like that.
It will
hopefully alow me to use brighter graphics. "

it's
probably a good idea to have a mixture of inside and
outside locations, and preferably a good variety of
locations too. i thought your time machine idea was not bad
at all - it certainly encourages different areas
with their own theme (which seems to be a good design
gambit).

i think the thing is (if you don't mind me saying)
that your design skills have not matured yet - you
have some good rooms, and some poor rooms, and you
need to learn to spot when you are making a poor room,
and wipe it (and either try again or give up and do
something else)... rather than forcing the room out so you
can press on with the game. this is a skill i
developed after making willy to the rescue - which has a
few very uninspired rooms which crept in towards the
end of the design period (when i was starting to get
knackered!).

i'm going to download the version of your game with
the proper start point, to see if i missed anything.
i'll also tell you which are the 'good' rooms, imo, if
you don't think that's too patronising
:)
