Subject: Re: JSW Lord of the Rings Mount Doom Frodo corruption
In 'Willy's Hoard', the graphical corruption of Willy's sprite occurs in Room 33 during all stages of the game (not just during the toilet dash) whilst he is in that room.
The top-left graphical byte of the 'toilet' (the gate thing at the top-right of the screen) is completely absent, whilst the top-right graphical byte of the 'toilet' follows Willy round, to the right-hand side of his right foot.
The latter is normally invisible, because the Air has both INK and PAPER set to black, but it can be seen whenever there is a non-Air cell to the right of his feet, or if a guardian passes to his right. Furthermore, these errant pixels can collide fatally with a guardian, even if Willy's actual sprite clears the guardian's pixels.
For the record, as with 'JSW: Lord of the Rings', the problem could be fixed with a single POKE #95BC, #5F.
