And hence no extra lives either! ;-)

That fossil from Manic Miner for extra-life colour-cycling (35253 in
JSW, aka &89B5, which can be POKEd at runtime) ought to be put to
good use in JSW! I have yet to see it exploited outside of the
JSW128 version of Party Willy. One possible use would be when all
the items are collected, since so many JSW games don't tell you how
many items you need to collect (i.e. 256 - PEEK 41983).

Either cheat-mode? Oh yes, that thing with the shield in JSW128
which any hacker should be able to discover! ;-) I have yet to put
my mind to cracking that.

I never bother with typing 6031769 or WRITETYPER these days. I just
use POKE 34275,10 (JSW) or POKE 33885,7 (MM) to turn it on.

As for "The Final Barrier" in JSW:MM, I managed to see the swordfish
using POKE 34795 to set the start-room (there's no direct equivalent
of this poke in Manic Miner, where the start-room is set to 0 by XOR
A followed by LD (SHEET),A -- XOR A being a one-byte instruction to
set A to 0).

I must look into the various variants and revisions of JSW64 when
I'm not so busy. Ditto re. Dragon 32 JSW, as I'm looking forward to
experiencing the extra rooms.

So should I upgrade JSW64, JSW64:MM and JSW64:Dragon to `gamma'
status - uploading them to my website - yet?

I've left them in "Other Future Games" in the latest update to my
List of MM/JSW Games, but I would like to upgrade them to "Others",
and I might even start a JSW64 category in the future if JSW64 takes
off like JSW128! I don't rule out the possibility of writing a JSW64
game myself one day...

P.S. I've just updated my List of MM/JSW Games.
