Yesterday, I found a fully fledged port of the Turrican II engine for
Windoze. What's more, it has a full editor complete with in-depth tile
editing and ready-to-go sprites. What's more it's endorsed by the
copyright holders of the original game! Now anyone can make a decent
platform shooter with no coding knowledge! Only problem is the game's
in German as are all the tut's, but they are working on a translation.

I too can't wait. Turrican and Turrican II were always amongst my
favourite platformers (not the vile Turrican III/Mega Turrican port
though)
I promise it won't interfere with my Willy. [*gets an uneasy feeling
after saying that*]
Now there's an obvious remark to make here, but frankly I'd feel even
more uneasy if I made it
